Account, Profile, Activity, and Use Information

We collect basic account information such as your name, email address, date of birth, gender, username and password that helps secure and provide you with access to our Services.

Profile, activity and use information is collected about you when you turn Start Monitoring or choose to upload a picture, activity or otherwise use the Services.

We use your contact information so we can respond to your support requests and comments.

Location Information

Our app uses your device’s background location only if you subscribe to specific subscription tiers and use the Services. To provide these subscription-tier services, your location data may be sent via text, call, or email and stored securely in our cloud. This data is not shared with third parties for advertising. You can manage your location settings anytime through your device’s settings.

Contacts Information

KeepWell provides a fee-based service (at our sole discretion) in which KeepWell attempts to initiate contact with the contacts you have listed on the app via phone call, text message, email or any combination of these based on user settings.

Connected Devices and Apps

KeepWell collects information from devices and apps you connect to KeepWell Applications. For example, you may connect your camera monitoring devices to KeepWell and information from these devices and apps will be accessed by KeepWell Applications.

Health Information

KeepWell may collect or infer health information. Certain health information, such as movement/motion events, and other information, such as videos and/or images, may be inferred from audio and video sensors. Before you start using the Services, you will be asked to provide consent to the collection, use and storage of such information. You may choose to use certain features of our Application that will allow you to input information with respect to your health such as sharing images and/or videos.

Payment Information

When you make a payment on KeepWell, you may provide payment information such as your payment card or other payment details. We use Payment Card Industry compliant thirdparty payment services and we do not store your credit card information.

Technical Information and Log Files

We collect information from your browser, computer, or mobile device, which provides us with technical information when you access or use the Services. This technical information includes device and network information, geolocation information (to use as part of text message, email and/or phone call notifications) log files and analytics information.

The Services use log files. The information stored in those files includes IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer, protect and secure the Services, track member movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses may be linked to session IDs and device identifiers.

How KeepWell Uses Information

KeepWell uses the information we collect and receive as described below.

We use the information we collect and receive to provide the Services, including:

To improve our Services

We also use the information we collect to analyze, develop and improve the Services. The aggregate anonymous database of all users’ data may be used for product development and enhancement and to further research. Your non-personally identifiable data will greatly aid in understanding the causes, factors and progression of various chronic conditions.

We use the information we collect to provide support in response to your requests and comments.

We may also use the information we collect to market and promote the Services, activities and events on KeepWell, and other commercial products or services. This includes marketing and push communications, where you have not opted out of receiving such messages and notifications.

To process your subscription

We use the information we collect to process your subscription.

In addition to the above, we use your information as needed to run our business and provide the Services, and where required for legal purposes.

How We Protect Information

We take several measures to safeguard the collection, transmission and storage of the data we collect. We employ reasonable protections for your information that are appropriate to its sensitivity. The Services use industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of personal information and credit card numbers. KeepWell engages providers that are industry leaders in online security, including Services verification, to strengthen the security of our Services. The Services are registered with site identification authorities so that your browser can confirm KeepWell’s identity before any personal information is sent. In addition, KeepWell’s secure servers protect this information using advanced firewall technology.

Data Retention

We retain user data on mobile and camera monitoring devices as long as the user remains signed in. This data is automatically deleted from the device when the user signs out of the app.

We also store some data on our secure backend servers to support core functionality of the app. This data is retained indefinitely unless a user explicitly requests its deletion.

Data Deletion

Users can delete the data stored on their mobile and camera monitoring devices by signing out of the app.

To request deletion of your data stored on our backend servers, please contact us at [email protected] with your account details. Upon verifying your request, we will delete your data from our servers within 3-5 business days.

KeepWell reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Please review it occasionally. If KeepWell makes changes to this Privacy Policy, the updated Privacy Policy will be posted on the Services in a timely manner and, if we make material changes, we will provide a prominent notice.
